Description
This was an assignment for my Corporate ID class. I had to redesign a logo for the American Beekeeping Federation.

<strike>I'm not 100% satisfied with the type treatment, but the bad case of the flu I've come down with, and the workload I have piling up are telling me it's time to move on. </strike>
EDIT: So much for moving on! As soon as I posted, I realized what went wrong, and how I could fix it. (Damn the descenders; full speed ahead!) I'm still not completely 100% on it, but it's a heckuva lot closer than what I had before.

is that optima i see? i love the logo, very nice work. I also agree that the type needs some work. Federation seems to be to track out and has no real alignment to the words above it.
